Robert Abate
Robert Abate, CBIP, CDMP is a principal practice consultant with EMC Corporation and a thought leader in their enterprise information management practice. He is also the chief information officer of EthoSquare, Inc. a discovery learning portal venture. He is an IT leader offering almost 30 years of experience in enterprise-wide technology architecture, applications, business intelligence and governance. His experience was built as an IT employee and developed into a global managing principal at consulting companies, including CIBER and RCG IT. He is credited as one of the first to publish on service-oriented architectures and is a respected IT though-leader within the field of Enterprise Information Management and its convergence with SOA. He is a member of the board of DAMA, a frequent guest host of DM Radio, and a frequent speaker at global IT conferences including EDW, TDWI, DGI, JAVAOne and World IT Congress.
